The automatic reactive power compensation device for substation was installed in May 2014, adopting a new technical concept to achieve fine compensation by changing the terminal voltage of the capacitor bank. The power factor is obviously increased after installation, which solved the problem of low power factor of the substation, and was affirmed by the user.
