Compared with the traditional substation reactive power compensation device, the voltage regulated automatic reactive power compensation device adopts a new technical idea, which breaks through the traditional reactive power compensation mode of grouping switching for capacitors with breaker, vacuum contactor and others. The device does not uses switching capacitor to compensate reactive power, but uses the principle of the capacitive reactive power output by capacitor in reactive power compensation is proportional to the square of its terminal voltage. It changes the terminal voltage of fixed capacitor bank by adjusting the output voltage of the regulator, so as to achieve the purpose of fine reactive power compensation. The product has obtained national patent, the patent No .is ZL201020581802.3.

SVQR voltage regulated automatic reactive power compensation device is mainly composed of primary part and secondary part.
The primary part mainly includes:disconnecting switch,autotransformer,series reactor(the reactor with a certain reactance rate must be connected in series between autotransformer and capacitor bank in the substation with serious harmonic wave),power capacitor,discharge coil,arrester,fence etc.
The secondary part mainly includes:control screen(controller and manual operation system)
Compared with other traditional compensation devices,SVQR voltage regulated automatic reactive power compensation device does not compensate reactive power by changing the capacitance value C,but realizes reactive power compensation by using the principle that the output reactive power of capacitor bank in reactive power compensation is proportional to the square of its terminal voltage,that is:
Although only one set of capacitor bank with fixed capacity is used in the whole set of device,during the compensation process,the capacitance value of the capacitor is also constant,but the output of reactive power will be changed with its terminal voltage.
